About Us

Pure Balance Physiotherapy is a dynamic and established physiotherapy practice located in the Spennymoor area of County Durham.

We are specialists in treating musculo-skeletal conditions and functional rehabilitation. Our physiotherapists are registered with Health Professions Council (HPC) and members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP).

Whether your condition started 5 minutes, five days or five years ago, we aim to provide the solution to returning you to full fitness as soon as possible. Our client base ranges from international athletes to elderly patients and each one gets personalised treatment programmes.

Whatever your reason for coming to physiotherapy, whether you are looking to by-pass the NHS waiting list, overcome injuries, recover from surgery, abolish pain or increase optimal performance in your sport, Pure Balance Physiotherapy will support you to reach the highest possible level of function and performance you can attain.

We have developed strong links with local businesses and offer discounted rates to members of local clubs. We are currently looking to set up corporate /occupational health services in the local community. Which will offer weekly or monthly visits to call centres and offices, where employees can access our services at discounted rates with less disruption to their working day allowing for a more productive workforce.

The clinic aims to deliver a high standard of individual assessment and treatment at an affordable price at the convenience of the patient. The focus is primarily on accurate diagnosis of the condition with treatment aimed at rectifying the underlying cause of the problem rather than only the presenting symptoms. We aim to achieve full fitness as quickly and effectively as possible, in order to prevent re-occurrence.

Your physiotherapist will work with you to identify the cause of the problem. Thorough assessments are combined with effective hands-on treatment to bring about the bests results in the shortest time possible. By the end of the assessment you will understand why you have had the pain. You will be given practical exercises and tips to complement the hands-on treatment given by your physiotherapist. This will improve your symptoms and prevent re-injury.
